This is a 808 bass which i sampled from my novation drum station. The sample covers one full octave from c#0-c1. The sound was recorded through a yamaha m1516 which pretty much has the same circuit as a api. As you can hear it sounds pretty much the same as a roland 808. This is a section of a recording i did when a school nearby had a field day. There's a decent part in the middle, where the wind sound is practically gone. I used some filters to take out the wind sound as much as possible, but the high end whistling of the wind is still a bit audible. Feel free to use this in anything!.

One of a series of heavily processed sounds of a squelchy stress reliever toy. I ran the original recordings through s-layer, the sample-mangling plugin from twisted tools, shaping them into short, sharp, and punchy impulses. These might be useful for some unusual ui sound design, or perhaps some gloopy weapon sounds!.

This is pink noise, made with audacity program. I decided to record this in a stereo track and i made this noise for 74 minutes long. The effects i chosen for this sound are fade in and fade out only, with the amplitude of pink noise sets to default settings. The cicadas crawl out of the ground, shed their skins, and climb up into the trees. One cicada makes a loud and distinctive sound, but a whole group of them creates a dull roar. This recording was made on the cemetery ridge trail at clear creek metro park in rockbridge, ohio.
